I feel very fortunate to
be able to do what I love.
So I may help you pursue projects
that you would love to do as well.
Having caught the audio bug early in life, I started out as a musician. During the early 90’s I worked in the fledgling home studios that were beginning to open up the possibilities of demo recordings for musicians of all skill levels, whether they had label backing or not. I considered attending a few different audio schools and, while in New York even registered for one. Ultimately I ended up taking an internship at a prestigious mastering studio located upstate. The chief engineer was old school and insisted that starting off as a “teaboy” and working my way up was the proper progression for any budding audio engineer who really wanted to have a sustained career. Through the course of my career I have held the job titles of recording engineer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, live sound recording engineer, front of house sound engineer, production sound mixer and boom pole operator.
Being the creative type that I am, I needed to branch out. I have acquired an Associate of Arts in Digital Video Production from Washtenaw Community College. I have been helping others, through the art of visual story telling, take any documentary, commercial or narrative project from concept to reality.
Never content to rest on my laurels, I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Sound Engineering with a Minor in Electrical Engineering in the M-Pod program between Washtenaw Community College and the University of Michigan. I am Pro Tools level 110 version 12.7 certified and am completely comfortable using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
